Voice Notes
Voice Notes allows you to record, play and share voice memos. It offers interactive memo recording using your iPhone’s built-in microphone and speaker. With this application you can easily send and receive voice email, it has native support for AMR. The process of recording is very simple. Must have.

MobileChat
Using a simplistic approach, keeping a unified GUI in mind, and using the most light weight methods for executing tasks, MobileChat is the premier AIM Application for the iPhone. Lights Off
If you are not in the mood to read books or to chat with your friends, try this one. Lights Off is an absolutely addictive puzzle game for iPhone. You should switch all of the lights out. Sketches
Sketches is a native iPhone application that will allow you to sketch a simple diagram, to draw on your iPhone, to add different things to your photos etc. It also has the ability to select pencils and colors, a library of stationery to use for your background, saving your work to the photo library (so that you can synchronize back to your computer), send to mail and undo. To erase your drawing, just shake your iPhone, as if it were an etch-a-sketch!

The Apple iPhone can be used to access Zimbra Collaboration Suite using IMAP/POP3, Safari, and iSync. It can also access Zimbra Collaboration Suite with Exchange, using the IMAP protocol for retrieving mail. It does not currently support Exchange ActiveSync or “over the air” syncing due to limitations on the iPhone. Unlike Apple Mail 2.1.1 on OS X and ActiveSync 5+ on Windows Mobile Phones, the iPhone will accept multiple Exchange accounts that can be used with the Zimbra Collaboration Suite server.

iCHAT FOR THE IPHONE IN JAVASCRIPT
Log in with your AOL IM account. No data is logged, but all of your information does pass through my server. I am not harvesting any information. This app is server intensive, so I’m limiting sessions to 10 minutes for now.

Use your mouse to flick (drag and release) your buddy list up and down like you’re supposed to on the iPhone. Click a buddy to start a conversation. You can open multiple conversations… flick left/right to change conversations.

SMS
SMSD iPhone SMS Delete And Forwarding Application
This application much like Wetool addresses some of the shortcomings of the SMS messaging application on the iPhone. The major features which are included on SMSD which Apple has neglected to add are deletion of individual messages, forwarding of SMS messages to groups of people and a built in character counter. The application is at version 0.09 but apparently seems stable in regards to the advertised features.

Put the extracted zip dir (SMSD.app) in /Applications on iPhone. From v0.09 onwards, you will also have to copy com.amrut.iphone.SMSD.plist to /Library/LaunchDaemons. And last but not the least, dont forget to set executable permissions for SMSD and SMSDNotifier files.

weTool For The iPhone
Aaron Jang has released weTool, a native iPhone application that enables you to delete individual sms and call entries along with the ability to forward SMS messages to multiple recipients, a feature that Apple hasn’t implemented as of yet. It also gives you an option to save your sms messages to your notepad and the transition effects between switching screens is pretty cool. The download is only available as a pxl file on hackint0sh Now available on Installer. Point Safari at or add Source via Installer at http://app.weiphone.com/installer/. Two downloads are below with the first download having a circular rotation transition between screens and the second having a page flip transition effect. Let Aaron Jang know which transition effect you like better on the poll so maybe you can influence him to incorporate it in his newer release. According to Aaron, he’s got more than 15 different page transitions. Hopefully those will be available on future releases. V0.3.7.1 now available with 17 different user selectable transitions along with a different menu system.
